Celebrating Family Day!

Posted by Ronda on 2/15/2016

Hooray! Another day to celebrate those we love & cherish and the memories we've built together through the years. Here are a couple of simple, quick ideas I thought were perfect as a little project for today celebrating with family. Gather round the table, kids and adults alike and get started on creating a simple, beautiful JAR OF MEMORIES.  P.S. A mason jar just kicking around makes a perfect vessel for all those moments!
Happy Family Day!

Ok so here it is Friday and Saturday is looming with still no Valentine gift in sight. Here are a couple of ideas i found that I think are adorable and so simple. You can still make it in time for Valentine's Day with a few minutes to spare tomorrow! For more details check out the links below to one of this Valentine's favorite places...Pinterest!

(I would use a larger jar and fill it with Kisses!)

Walltalk & WASABI TAPE!

There's nothing more exciting than a great craft that looks amazing, takes very little time
and costs next to nothing! And, I think these votive candle holders are awesome! A little gathering of them makes a perfect last minute gift too.

All you need...scissors, glassware (or even switch plates) and some colourful patterned wasabi tape. You can purchase these at your local craft store and the options for design are unlimited. Don't stress on which pattern goes with which, choose a couple of colours, mix and match and you're good to go. Its an awesome project to do along with children or maybe a girlfriend or two. No muss no fuss! Give it a shot; you'll be addicted!

The World is your Oyster...

Oh yes it is...

Company coming? Gather a few special pieces from around the house
and showcase your dining area! Nothing has to match (actually better if it doesn't).
I always try to keep a common color scheme and scour all rooms in the house; you'll be amazed at what you come up with! Bigger pieces to the back; shorter in the front and always fresh greeneries, flowers or a plant to top it off! In this case a tree and of course, Walltalk. Its easily removed with a hair dryer after the party's over:)

An informative short read for serving up oysters like a pro!
